Why does my TMJ hurt?
The temporomandibular joint is a complex joint made of 2 bones and a disc. Such intricate structure can sometimes create issues with mobility and/or stiffness. Furthermore, the disc can be displaced which makes it even more tricky.
How can Physio help with my TMJ pain?
Physiotherapy can help with muscle relaxation, exercises to help with joint and mouth mobility, IMS to help with trigger point release, mobilisations to help with joint mobility and postural training.
