Kya grew up in Ontario, Canada and developed a keen interest in human movement and performance. In 2009, she graduated with a degree in athletic therapy and kinesiology. While in Toronto, she worked for a few years in both clinical and field practice.
In 2013, she continued her studies and moved to Oxford, U.K, where she completed her Masters in Physiotherapy.
As a new mom herself, Kya was always interested in pelvic floor health. She has trained under Pelvic Floor Solutions and this has helped her help numerous moms in their recovery. Kya aims to listen to her clients, with her main goal to provide evidence-based care to make sure her patients achieve a safe and quick recovery.

Her second speciality is in gait analysis and functional movement. Working from the ground up, she specializes in foot biomechanics to make sure the patient can achieve his or her best outcomes in sports and everyday life. She works to achieve optimal foot function to ensure proper mechanics throughout the body.
